Zirconia · MIYO characterisation
Full-arch zirconia restoration
This full-arch zirconia restoration was designed, milled and finished at CD Dental Lab. The film focuses on the final MIYO characterisation and finishing stage, showing work on the restoration in the laboratory. It documents laboratory production rather than a patient’s clinical outcome.

Lower full-arch bridge
This lower full-arch zirconia bridge was milled in-house from a single disc. The film shows the restoration after milling and before further finishing. Together with the final-characterisation film, it offers a view of two different stages of laboratory zirconia work; it does not show a fitted restoration or clinical outcome.

Scans and impressions
We work with major intraoral scanner platforms, including Medit, iTero, 3Shape TRIOS and Dentsply Sirona. Confirm your scanner model, export format and transfer route with the lab before sending files. Conventional impressions are also supported.
Materials
Zirconia, e.max, porcelain-fused-to-metal and full metal restorations are listed in our services. Implant work includes zirconia and titanium. Discuss the material for your prescription with the lab.
Clinical references
Intraoral scans can be reviewed alongside X-rays and implant information during digital design. Agree the relevant references and transfer method with the lab.

Based in Dumfries, we serve dental practices across Dumfries and Galloway, Carlisle and Ayr. Agree collection or delivery arrangements and a case-specific turnaround before booking the fitting appointment.
